NEW DELHI, 11 October 2025: Corteva Agriscience has announced significant updates to its Delegate Insecticide, reinforcing its role as a dependable and sustainable solution for Indian farmers practicing Integrated Pest Management (IPM). The product is widely used for managing pests in corn, cotton, and chilli crops across India.

Delegate® is recognised for its fast-acting control of major pests such as Fall Armyworm (FAW) in corn and thrips in cotton and chilli. The company’s latest refinement underscores its commitment to scientific precision, farmer resilience, and ecological safety.

Unlike conventional pest control methods, Delegate targets harmful insects while remaining safe for beneficial species such as bees and natural predators, supporting ecological balance and long-term farm sustainability. Its residual protection reduces the frequency of sprays, saving both time and resources for farmers.

Corteva recommends timed applications for maximum effectiveness — including sprays at 15–25 and 30–35 days after sowing for corn, at flowering and boll formation for cotton, and during flowering and fruit-setting stages for chilli. This approach promotes uniform growth, improves crop quality, and enhances overall yields.

By integrating Delegate® into modern IPM strategies, farmers can shift from reactive spraying to strategic pest management, ensuring better productivity, crop quality, and profitability. The initiative reflects Corteva Agriscience’s commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture and empowering Indian farmers through innovation and resilience-focused solutions.
