HYDERABAD, 11 November 2025: The 17th edition of Poultry India Expo 2025, South Asia’s largest poultry exhibition, will be held from November 26 to 28 at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Hitech City, Hyderabad. A Poultry Knowledge Day will precede the event on November 25 at HICC Novotel.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the three-day expo, which will serve as a comprehensive platform for stakeholders in the poultry sector — from feed and equipment manufacturers to breeders, egg farmers, and nutrition experts.
Announcing details at a curtain raiser in Hyderabad, Uday Singh Bayas, President of the Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA), said the event aims to keep industry participants abreast of the latest developments in poultry management, health, breeding, and feed manufacturing technologies.
“This exhibition is South Asia’s biggest poultry event, and we are expecting over 45,000 participants from 35 to 50 countries,” Bayas said. “A key highlight this year will be the participation of Uganda’s Agriculture Minister and several international delegations keen to study India’s growth as the world’s second-largest egg producer and fourth-largest chicken producer.”
More than 500 exhibitors from across the globe will showcase advanced technologies and innovations in poultry science, feed milling, housing systems, automation, and animal health. “India has now achieved self-reliance in poultry production and has also emerged as an exporter of poultry products,” Bayas added.
He emphasized that the progress of India’s poultry sector reflects the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat and aligns with the Viksit Bharat@2047 vision articulated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Highlighting the nutritional value of poultry products, Bayas noted, “Eggs and chicken are excellent sources of protein that can address undernutrition in rural India. Ensuring protein-rich diets can help combat the issue of underweight populations.”
The press conference was attended by leading representatives from the poultry industry, including K. G. Anand (General Manager, Venkateshwara Hatcheries Ltd), Chitturi Suresh Rayadu (Managing Director, Srinivasa Farms Pvt Ltd), Dr. K. Balaswamy (President, National Egg & Chicken Promotion Council), and K. Mohan Reddy (President, Telangana Poultry Federation).
Other attendees included V. Narasimha Reddy, M. K. Vyas (President, Indian Poultry Journalists Association), Naveen Pasuparthy (President, Karnataka Poultry Farmers & Breeders Association), Singaraj K. (President, Tamil Nadu Poultry Farmers Association), Valsan P.
