HANOVER / Germany, 11 November 2025: Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers, unveiled its next-generation electric hybrid tractor, the TAFE EVX75, at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover, Germany. The company also celebrated a milestone as its TAFE EV28 electric tractor emerged among the Top 5 finalists in the “Tractor of the Year (TOTY) 2026” Sustainable Category.

TAFE showcased three new product ranges—utility, compact, and speciality tractors—each up to 100 HP, designed to meet the diverse operational requirements of European farmers. The new lineup includes the TAFE 1015 (100 HP), TAFE 7515 GE (74 HP orchard and fruit tractor), and TAFE 6065 Compact Utility Series (65 HP).

Highlighting TAFE’s transformation, the company said it is evolving from a tractor manufacturer to a complete farm-solutions provider, investing heavily in precision AgTech, automation, and alternate-energy platforms to empower farmers globally.

Dr. Lakshmi Venu, Vice Chairman of TAFE, said, “For over 65 years, TAFE has built a reputation for engineering excellence and reliability. As one of the world’s largest tractor manufacturers with a presence across 80 countries, we continue to innovate with the world, for the world.”

Mallika Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of TAFE, added, “TAFE aspires for global leadership in the sub-100 HP segment—the largest volume category worldwide. Our vision of ‘Cultivating the World’ drives us to deliver smart, accessible, and sustainable mechanization solutions for farmers across markets.”

Hybrid Innovation: TAFE EVX75

The TAFE EVX75 introduces a 75 HP hybrid powertrain combining a Stage V diesel engine with a 400V electric battery system. The tractor can operate in zero-emission electric mode or hybrid mode for high-demand fieldwork, reducing emissions and fuel costs.

Equipped with a 3-speed transmission and a top speed of 40 km/h, it offers advanced features such as a liquid-cooled high-voltage system, full HVAC cab, electro-hydraulic rear lift, independent PTO, and automation-ready controls for enhanced productivity.

TAFE Terra 2.0 and Vision Systems

The company also unveiled TAFE Terra 2.0, an integrated digital platform featuring the Terra Vista vision-based guidance system. The platform offers scalable and affordable AgriTech solutions designed to enhance precision and efficiency in farming.

Expanding Product Range

TAFE 1015 (Utility Series): 103 HP Stage V engine, Power Shuttle transmission, 4,000 kg lift capacity, premium climate-controlled cabin.

TAFE 6065 (Compact Series): 65 HP Stage V engine with hydrostatic or mechanical transmission, lightweight chassis for reduced soil compaction.

TAFE 7515 GE (Fruit and Orchard Series): 74 HP narrow-track tractor ideal for vineyards, orchards, and hilly terrains.

Through these innovations, TAFE continues to advance its mission of “Cultivating the World”—delivering sustainable, efficient, and technology-driven farming solutions to empower farmers globally.
