VISAKHAPATNAM, 17 November 2025: Kings Infra Ventures Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to develop a INR 2,500 crore, 500-acre Integrated Aquaculture Technology Park near Srikakulam. The project is expected to significantly strengthen India’s aquaculture exports, generate large-scale employment, and establish the state as a global hub for AI-driven, sustainable aquaculture.
INR 2,500 crore investment to boost Blue Economy

The park will be developed through INR 500 crore in direct investment by Kings Infra and partnering institutions, while an additional INR 2,000 crore is expected to flow from ancillary industries, MSMEs, renewable energy units, and tank-based farming clusters.

The Andhra Pradesh government has directed the Srikakulam District Collector to identify suitable land and fast-track all approvals to enable immediate commencement of Phase I.

11,500 jobs and major export gains

The project is expected to generate 1,500 direct jobs and 10,000 indirect jobs. From its third year of operations, the park aims to facilitate INR 2,000 crore in direct aquaculture exports and INR 20,000 crore in indirect export value, strengthening India’s position in global seafood markets.

First-of-its-kind high-tech aquaculture hub

The Kings Maritime Aquaculture Technology Park will feature:

  • Hatcheries and indoor RAS farming systems
  • Multi-species culture units for shrimp, seabass, grouper, tilapia, mud crab and more
  • Advanced processing and cold-chain lines
  • A Marine Bio-actives Unit for nutraceuticals like Omega-3 oils, astaxanthin, marine collagen
  • An AI-driven Digital Operations Centre powered by BlueTechOS

The fully integrated ecosystem will enable real-time water quality analytics, predictive disease alerts, automated feeding and end-to-end digital farm management.

Aquaculture Skill & Innovation Centre to train 5,000 professionals

A major component of the project is the Aquaculture Skill & Innovation Centre, which will train and certify 5,000 aqua professionals in five years. Training will cover RAS systems, IoT-enabled tanks, biosecurity protocols, AI-based farm management and entrepreneurship development.

Collaborations with CMFRI, CIFE, FSI, RGCA, universities and global research institutions are being explored.

Government expresses full support

State MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the project aligns with the Chief Minister’s Vision 2030: “We will ensure seamless single-window clearance and full support from land identification to final approvals. This project will accelerate coastal development and expand entrepreneurship across Andhra Pradesh.”
