HYDERABAD, 15 December 2025: The Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) has linked Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s innovation-led development agenda, showcased at the Telangana Rising Global Summit, to accelerating growth in India’s poultry sector. Speaking at the 40th Annual Conference and National Symposium of the Indian Poultry Science Association (IPSACON 2025) in Hyderabad, IPEMA said the state’s focus on technology, entrepreneurship, and research is positioning Telangana as a national poultry hub.

IPSACON 2025, held at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), brought together more than 400 scientists, policymakers, academicians, industry leaders, and students. Organised jointly by the ICAR–Directorate of Poultry Research and IPSA, the conference centred on the theme “Flock to the Future: Embracing Technology, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability in Poultry Production for Protein Security in Viksit Bharat.”

IPEMA President Uday Singh Bayas said the development philosophy articulated by CM Revanth Reddy aligns closely with the poultry sector’s future needs, stressing innovation, science-led growth, and stronger academia–industry collaboration. He highlighted the success of the 17th Poultry India Expo 2025 and IPEMA’s ongoing initiatives, including technical seminars, Vice-Chancellors’ Meets, and youth skill development programmes.

Senior dignitaries, including KVAFSU Vice-Chancellor Dr. K.C. Veeranna and IAS officer Dr. K. Ilambarithi, noted Telangana’s rapid rise in poultry production and its contribution to national protein security and rural livelihoods.

Bayas also invited global experts to the 18th Poultry India Expo, scheduled for November 25–27, 2026, with Poultry Knowledge Day on November 24. IPSACON 2025 also recognised excellence in poultry science, awarding Dr. V. Ayyagari, former Director of ICAR–DPR, with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

IPEMA concluded that sustained research, technology adoption, and policy support will be critical to strengthening India’s poultry value chain and achieving long-term growth objectives.
