इकार्डा ने भारतीय प्रजनन कार्यक्रमों में उपयोग के लिए वैश्विक जर्मप्लाज्म तक पहुंच को सक्षम बनाया। पिछले तीन वर्षों के दौरान भारत में वाणिज्यिक खेती के लिए आईसीएआरडीए के साथ दाल, चना और जौ की दस उच्च उपज देने वाली किस्में जारी की गई हैं। इनमें से छह 2019 में, तीन 2020 में और एक 2021 में रिलीज हुई थी।

पीएम-किसान एक केंद्रीय क्षेत्र की योजना है। इस योजना का शुभारंभ 24 फरवरी, 2019 को भूमि धारक किसानों की वित्तीय जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए किया गया था। योजना के अनुसार प्रत्यक्ष लाभ अंतरण (डीबीटी) के माध्यम से देश भर के किसान परिवारों के बैंक खातों में हर चार महीने में तीन समान किस्तों में 6000/- रुपये प्रति वर्ष का वित्तीय लाभ हस्तांतरित किया जाता है।

गेल्या अनेक वर्षांत भारताने कृषी उत्पादनांमध्ये सातत्याने व्यापार अधिशेष कायम ठेवला आहे. 2019-20 दरम्यान भारताची कृषी आणि संबंधित निर्यात 2.52 लाख कोटी आणि आयात 1.47 लाख कोटी रुपये इतकी होती. महामारीच्या कठीण काळातही, जागतिक अन्न पुरवठा साखळीत कोणताही अडथळा येऊ नये म्हणून भारताने निरंतर निर्यात सुरु ठेवली. एप्रिल 2020 ते फेब्रुवारी 2021 या कालावधीत 2.74 लाख कोटी रुपयांची कृषी आणि संबंधित वस्तूंची निर्यात झाली. मागील वर्षी हा आकडा 2.31 लाख कोटी रुपये इतका होता. मागील वर्षीच्या तुलनेत यावर्षी यामध्ये 18.49 टक्क्यांची वाढ निदर्शनाला आली आहे.

भारत ने पिछले सालों में कृषि उत्पादों के मामले में लगातार निर्यात अधिशेष कायम रखा । 2019-20 के दौरान भारत का कृषि एवं संबद्ध जिंसों का निर्यात 2.52 लाख करोड़ रुपये और आयात 1.47 लाख करोड़ रुपये का था। यहां तक कि महामारी के कठिन समय में भी भारत ने इस बात का ध्यान रखा कि वैश्विक खाद्य आपूर्ति श्रृंखला टूटने न पाए और लगातार निर्यात को जारी रखा। अप्रैल 2020 से फरवरी 2021 के दौरान कृषि एवं संबद्ध जिंसों का 2.74 लाख करोड़ रुपये का निर्यातकिया गया जो पिछले साल की समान अवधि में हुए 2.31 लाख करोड़ रुपये के निर्यात के मुकाबले 18.49% अधिक रहा।
