DEHRADUN, 15 March 2026: Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA)–Poultry India supported the 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Broiler Breeders Association – North (BBAN), bringing together poultry breeders, industry leaders and stakeholders from across North India to discuss the sector’s growth and future prospects.

Addressing the gathering, Uday Singh Bayas, President of IPEMA–Poultry India, highlighted the rapid expansion of the poultry industry in northern states such as Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Punjab, which are playing a key role in strengthening India’s poultry ecosystem.

Rising Demand Driving Poultry Sector Growth

Bayas noted that increasing demand for affordable protein, adoption of modern farming technologies, improved genetics, better feed efficiency and stronger breeder networks have significantly contributed to the region’s poultry sector growth.

He also stressed the importance of collaboration among breeders, integrators, equipment manufacturers, feed companies, pharmaceutical firms and policymakers to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.

IPEMA–Poultry India, he added, continues to work towards bridging industry and academia, promoting awareness about protein nutrition and encouraging technological innovation across the poultry value chain.

Recognition for Industry Support

During the event, the IPEMA–Poultry India team led by Bayas was honoured with a memento presented by Mohit Malik, President of BBAN, and Krishnan Mann, Vice President of BBAN.

The recognition was presented in the presence of Gulab Saini and Karmvir Saini, acknowledging IPEMA’s continued support to the poultry industry and breeder community.

Invitation to Poultry India Expo 2026

Bayas also invited industry members to participate in the 18th edition of the Poultry India Expo 2026, scheduled from November 25–27, 2026 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, along with the Poultry Knowledge Day on November 24.

The upcoming event is expected to be one of the world’s largest poultry exhibitions, showcasing innovations in breeder technology, automation systems, animal health solutions and sustainable poultry farming practices.

Congratulating BBAN for successfully organising the AGM, Bayas emphasised the need for unity and collaboration within the industry to strengthen breeder networks and ensure affordable protein availability for Indian households.
