CREMONA, ITALY, 27 October 2017 : h2>To appoint distributor soon

CREMONA, ITALY: India's huge cattle population is now catching the eye of foreign animal health companies, one such firm is Italy based TecnoZoo, which is entering the Indian market.

Speaking to Agriculture Times, Dr Farzin Faraji of TecnoZoo said there is two major reason for us to enter India, firstly India has the world largest cattle population of over 191 million and we want to cater looking at opportunities it provides us.

Secondly, is the technology that we have and this is currently not available in India, we can bring this technology to India.

We are going to appoint a distributor in India and the distributors will be our eyes and ear in the market. Initially, we will launch animal addictive enzymes in India, that includes addictive, acidifiers, essential oil, mineral, vitamin based products for dairy livestock, Dr Faraji stressed.

Emphasizing further, the company official said that we have products for all like we have products that can be used for all months, as well as products that can be used for a day, week or for a specific period with specific problems.

India is a fantastic market and very important us to expand in the region. For the last three years, we are growing at a rate of 3% to 6% annually.

For poultry sector, we have various type of product that helps improve egg shells, efficiently in increasing feed apart from including minerals, amino acid products.

Asking what is the difference between two markets, he said that in Italy the company sells directly to farmers, but in India, newly appointed distributors will help us understand the market and after few years after entering the market, we will study, what more we can offer.

We have state-of-the-art technology, which we want to bring this technology in India and we hope this will help the world largest population cattle country to increase its milk production. With our products, we can make a difference in Indian dairy sector, he explained.

Founded in 1984, the company currently exports to 30 countries across the world with a production capacity of 150 tonnes of animal products per day.

The company has two production plants in Italy and also have collaboration with Universities of Padova and Parma.
