BHOPAL, 13 July 2025: Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare and Rural Development, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, on Saturday distributed appointment letters to successful candidates during the Rozgar Mela held in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
The Rozgar Mela, part of the Government of India’s ongoing recruitment drive, witnessed the nationwide distribution of over 51,000 appointment letters for central government jobs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event virtually, reaffirming the government's commitment to empowering youth through transparent employment processes.
25 Crore Indians Moved Above Poverty Line
Addressing the gathering, Chouhan lauded the Prime Minister’s leadership, terming it a “golden era” for employment and social upliftment.
“Over 25 crore citizens have risen above the poverty line. Prime Minister Modi has uprooted poverty from its very foundation,” Chouhan said.
Transparent Hiring and Youth Empowerment
He added that more than 10 lakh youths have already secured central government jobs during the current administration. Of the 51,200 youth inducted today, many have been placed in critical departments including the Railways.
“This employment has been offered through a fully transparent, merit-based process, enabling deserving youth to become key contributors in building a Viksit Bharat,” he said.
Concluding his address, Chouhan congratulated the new appointees and thanked the Prime Minister for spearheading inclusive and employment-centric governance.
