THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, 26 October 2025: Two students from the capital district have qualified for the state-level finals of the OISCA–Milma Top Teen Contest 2025 after district-level rounds were held at the Milma Thiruvananthapuram Dairy on Friday.
The contest, jointly organised by OISCA International and Milma, aims to promote leadership qualities and environmental awareness among high school students. Participants were shortlisted through preliminary tests conducted in schools.
TRCMPU Chairperson Mani Viswanath and Milma Dairy Unit Head Jessy R S attended the event and commended the effort to engage young people in community-focused initiatives.
The competition was coordinated by OISCA’s Thiruvananthapuram, Kazhakuttom and Women’s Chapters under the District Committee. Milma presented special gift hampers to the top three performers.
Martin Johny of Loyola School, Sreekariyam, and Martha Mary Chacko of Carmel Higher Secondary School, Vazhuthacaud, will represent the district in the finals scheduled in Kottayam on November 8.
Organisers said the contest helps strengthen youth participation in sustainability and civic activities.
