PERTH / Australia, 22 September 2023: Calling all agrifood tech innovators! Here's your chance to join Asia Pacific's premier agrifood tech event, AgriFutures evokeAG. 2024.

Applications are now open for the evokeAG. Startup Program, offering startups and scaleup businesses a unique opportunity to showcase their innovations, connect with potential investors and corporates, and expand their networks.

The flagship component of the Program, Startup Alley powered by Syngenta, will serve as the platform for the most innovative and exceptional companies in agrifood tech innovation from Australia and around the world. In total, 29 startups will receive a free pass to participate in evokeAG. 2024, scheduled for February 20-21, 2024, in Perth.

Among these startups, ten will have the opportunity to demonstrate their groundbreaking technology on the demo stage in the exhibition space, providing them with valuable exposure to event-goers. Additionally, a select group of Australian and New Zealand companies will be chosen to present their solutions to potential customers and investors at the exclusive Culinary Capital Dinner, by invitation only.

Harriet Mellish, General Manager of Global Innovation Networks at AgriFutures, encourages startups and scaleups, both locally and globally, to apply for this exciting opportunity.

"We want to see applications from companies that are helping to revolutionize the agrifood sector, have strong market potential, and a clear vision for the future," Ms. Mellish said.

She added, "evokeAG. 2024 is all about showcasing our exceptional edge to the world and helping our delegates find their cutting edge. Through the Program, startups and scaleups with exceptional technology will have an opportunity to connect with potential investors, partners, and customers."

Since its inception in 2019, the evokeAG. Startup Program has played a crucial role in fostering a thriving and successful agrifood and technology sector. It has supported the growth and investment of more than 80 Australian and global agrifood tech innovation startups.

Danielle Morton, CEO of Zondii, a participant in the 2023 evokeAG. Startup Program, highlighted the program's value in their journey towards becoming the world's first smartphone verification tool for food and a handheld verification tool for fiber.

"It was an invaluable opportunity for the growth of our business, not only opening doors to investment and partnerships but allowing us to talk directly to potential customers," Ms. Morton said. "I couldn't recommend the Program more and would strongly encourage any startups in the agrifood sector to apply."

For the first time ever, evokeAG. 2024 will accept applications from evokeAG. Startup Alumni to exhibit at the new Scaleup Station. This presents a unique opportunity for scaleups that have evolved from emerging agrifood tech startups to showcase their advancements, connect with potential partners, and further accelerate their growth journey.

Don't miss this opportunity to be part of the evokeAG. 2024 Startup Program. Applications are open from September 18, 2023, and will close on October 23, 2023.
