KOLKATA, 17 February 2026: The Indian Poultry Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA)–Poultry India marked a strong presence at NOVACON 2026 – Conference on Innovation in Poultry, held alongside the 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair (KIPF) from February 10–13, 2026.
The IPEMA delegation was led by President Uday Singh Bayas, reaffirming the association’s commitment to strengthening collaboration across India, particularly in the Eastern region.
Focus on Innovation and Sustainable Growth
The interactive seminar at NOVACON 2026 featured internationally reputed speakers who discussed cutting-edge technologies, innovation-driven practices, biosecurity, sustainability and future growth strategies. The conference highlighted the need for resilience and sustainable expansion within India’s poultry sector.
The 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair was inaugurated by West Bengal’s Minister for Animal Resources Development, Sapan Debnath, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The event was organised by the West Bengal Poultry Federation in association with the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal.
IPEMA–Poultry India set up an exclusive pavilion representing its member companies, serving as a key networking hub for the Eastern India poultry industry. A total of 12 member companies showcased advanced technologies through individual stalls, while two participated under the IPEMA pavilion, reinforcing collective representation.
The IPEMA stall was inaugurated in the presence of industry leaders including representatives from the Poultry Federation of India and other national poultry bodies.
Addressing stakeholders, Uday Singh Bayas emphasized deeper collaboration, innovation-led growth and unified industry strategies. He also invited participants to the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo 2026, scheduled from November 25–27, 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre.
IPEMA’s participation underscored its continued commitment to innovation-driven poultry practices, regional integration, biosecure production systems and strengthening India’s global competitiveness in poultry.
