MADURAI, 22 April 2025: The Small Industries Product Promotion Organisation (SIPPO), in collaboration with the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (Hyderabad), has announced a 45-day free residential training programme aimed at fostering agricultural entrepreneurship.
The programme will cover topics such as agricultural clinics and establishing agricultural business centres.
Designed to help individuals start their own businesses in the agricultural sector, the training will provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed. Upon completion, successful candidates will be eligible for loans ranging from INR 10 lakh to INR 1 crore.
As an added benefit, NABARD will provide a subsidy of 36% for general category applicants and 44% for women and SC/ST candidates. The programme is open to students aged 18-60 who hold a degree or diploma in science, agriculture, or related subjects.
