BENGALURU, 5 August 2025: VST Tillers Tractors Ltd, one of India’s leading players in compact farm equipment, has introduced its latest innovation — the FENTM Tractor Series, a new range of fuel-efficient, high-torque compact tractors designed to meet the needs of modern agriculture.
Built on the principles of frugal innovation, the FENTM series — which stands for Fuel Efficient and Torque Max — is aimed at delivering enhanced productivity, operator comfort, and long-term value for small and mid-sized farms.
The newly launched series comprises five models — 180 FENTM, 224 FENTM, 225 FENTM, 270 FENTM, and 929 FENTM — with horsepower ranging from 18.5 HP to 29 HP. The lineup includes both 2WD and 4WD variants, and is engineered to perform across a variety of terrains and tasks, from tilling to hauling and orchard management.
“The FENTM Tractor Series is a significant leap in our mission to offer compact yet powerful solutions for India’s progressive farmers,” said Antony Cherukara, CEO of VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. “These models offer maximum torque with minimum fuel usage, while ensuring comfort, durability and performance under diverse field conditions.”
According to the company, the FENTM range is optimized for compactness without compromising on power, making it suitable for precision tasks in small land holdings, horticulture, and inter-row farming.
The tractors feature a range of enhancements under the company’s ‘Max’ technology umbrella:
- Torque Max: High pulling power at low RPM
- CC Max: High-capacity engines for superior load performance
- Turn Max: Class-leading turning radius for maneuverability in tight spaces
- Comfort Max: Ergonomic design to reduce operator fatigue
Speed Max, Flow Max, Compact Max, and Performance Max features further enhance field coverage, cooling efficiency, space optimization, and overall output.
Cherukara said the new launch aligns with India’s push towards smart and sustainable farming. “With the FENTM series, we’re not just building machines — we’re shaping the future of Indian agriculture,” he said. “This is innovation with the spirit of Bharat.”
The company has positioned the series as a long-term value product for farmers seeking performance, versatility, and cost-efficiency in a single solution. The launch is expected to strengthen VST’s market share in the compact tractor segment, which is gaining momentum with increased mechanisation in horticulture and small-farm operations.
