VALSAD, 10 July 2025: Heranba Industries Ltd. on Monday announced the commencement of commercial production at Phase-II of its Sarigam unit in Gujarat, operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, Heranba Organics Private Limited (HOPL).

The newly commissioned phase expands the group’s manufacturing footprint with a sharpened focus on fungicide and insecticide production, reinforcing its standing in the domestic and global crop protection market.

With both phases at Sarigam now operational, the facility’s total installed capacity has reached 9,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). The company estimates that the integrated unit is capable of generating annual revenues of INR 375 crore to INR 475 crore, based on current market demand and utilization rates.

“This milestone represents a critical step in Heranba’s growth strategy, enhancing our ability to serve both Indian and international agrochemical markets with increased scale and product depth,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

Located in Valsad district, the Sarigam facility is strategically positioned to cater to export hubs and key agricultural states, while also aligning with the government's emphasis on domestic production and reduced import dependence in the agrochemical sector.

The move comes amid rising demand for residue-free, crop-specific formulations and regulatory tailwinds favouring integrated agrochemical manufacturers.

Heranba Industries, which is among India’s leading players in the synthetic pyrethroids segment, continues to expand its product mix and manufacturing capacity through strategic backward integration and investment in R&D-driven formulation development.
