Rallis India resumes operations at Lote, Ankleshwar and Dahej plants

Rallis India has resumed operations at its plants located at Lote, Ankleshwar, and Dahej effective April 27, 2020, after completing critical maintenance jobs which could be taken up by advancing the annual shutdown

MUMBAI, 28 April 2020: India's leading crop care firm, Rallis India has resumed operations at its plants located at Lote, Ankleshwar, and Dahej effective April 27, 2020, after completing critical maintenance jobs which could be taken up by advancing the annual shutdown.

Announcing this, a TATA Enterprise is a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals company with its business presence in the farm essentials vertical said that production levels at the plants will be gradually increased in the coming days. The Company’s operations come under the approved list of essential activities as per the Indian ministry of home affairs (MHA).

While resuming operations, the company is ensuring compliance with the directives issued by the authorities in this regard and is continuing to take various measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all its employees and stakeholders, the company said in a statement.

The Company continues to closely monitor the situation and will take all necessary measures as directed by the Central and State Government authorities from time to time, the statement added.

In view of the outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and in compliance with the directives issued by the Government authorities and keeping in mind the safety and well-being of all the employees and stakeholders, Rallis India had commenced safe shutdown activities at these plants with effect from March 24, 2020.
