Indian soybean exports has again posted a drop of a whopping 60 per cent at 12,272 tonnes during July 2016, Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) said in a statement.
SOPA said, “The export of Soybean meal and its other value added products (HS Code 2304) during July 2016 is just 12,272 tonnes, as compared to 30,688 tonnes in July 2015 showing a decrease of 60 per cent over the same period of last year.”
On a financial year basis, the export during April 2016 to July 2016 is 52,906 tonnes, as compared to 136,897 tonnes in the same period of previous year showing a decrease of 61 per cent, the statement adds.
During current Oil year, (October – September), total exports during October 2015 to July, 2016 is 238,676 tonnes as against 686,525 tonnes last year, showing a decrease by 65.23 per cent.
