NEW DELHI, 25 July 2023: Inera, a company that develops bio-based agricultural inputs, has announced that its products have shown a 20 percent surge in crop performance in field trials conducted by Xenesis, the R&D arm of Absolute.
Xenesis is a bioscience company with a team of over 150 world-leading scientists who are pushing the frontiers of biology to disrupt agriculture. Their product range includes bio-fertilizers, bio-stimulants, bio-insecticides, bio-pesticides and seed-coating products that work in a range of different climatic conditions.
The field trials were conducted across eight different agroclimatic zones in the Indian subcontinent, and the results were consistent across all locations. The trials showed that Inera's bio inputs were able to significantly improve crop yields and quality, even in challenging conditions.
Sunil Kalra, owner of Prabhat Seeds, a company that sells wheat and rice seeds across India, said that he has seen a "massive and visible increase in the health and quality of crops and seeds" after using Inera bio inputs.
"I conduct extensive trials for products before I use or recommend products to my farmers, and I find the results from Inera bio inputs very compelling," Kalra said.
Dr. Ajit Kumar, a product development leader at Xenesis, said that the company's field trials are rigorous and follow international standards.
"Working closely with farmers gives us a thorough understanding of their challenges, which informs our product development to a great extent," Dr. Kumar said. "The bio-abled products we make for agriculture come from extensive R&D followed by rigorous field testing in a diverse range of soils and agro climatic conditions. Our field team is highly-skilled and the quality of our trials is unmatched in the biologicals space."
The results of the field trials are a significant breakthrough for Inera and Xenesis. They demonstrate the potential of bio-based agricultural inputs to improve crop yields and quality, even in challenging conditions.
