The company, which has served over 1.2 million Indian farmers and enabled smart irrigation across 1.3 million hectares, will focus its latest campaign on smallholders, women farmers, and farmer-producer groups.
“As we celebrate six decades globally, our mission remains to help Indian farmers grow more with less,” said Mr. Randhir Chauhan, Managing Director, Netafim India. “This milestone reaffirms our commitment to building a smarter, more inclusive, and climate-resilient agricultural future.”
According to the company, its solutions have helped increase crop yields by up to 40% while reducing water usage by nearly 50%, supporting India’s goals for sustainable agriculture and water conservation.
The commemorative initiative will also feature an employee engagement campaign titled “Celebrating 60 Years of Leadership.” With over 1,200 employees in India, Netafim plans activities such as ‘60 Days of Impact’, a volunteer program connecting employees with rural communities, along with a ‘Voices of Netafim’ storytelling series and upskilling programs for future agri-leaders.
Celebrations will be held across Netafim’s offices, manufacturing units, and field sites, highlighting the company’s employee value proposition, 'Where Purpose Comes to Life.'
Netafim has introduced key innovations in the past year, including GrowSphere, a digital farming OS for daily precision, and a hybrid dripper with enhanced irrigation efficiency. In India, the recently launched Toofan dripline is tailored to meet the needs of small and marginal farmers.
Netafim’s solutions are in use across diverse geographies—from grape farms in Maharashtra to banana fields in Tamil Nadu, and sugarcane belts in Uttar Pradesh. Flagship products continue to play a pivotal role in improving productivity and conserving natural resources.
