NEW DELHI, 12 September 2025: Corteva Agriscience has launched Zorvec Entecta, a next-generation fungicide designed to strengthen crop health and provide long-lasting protection against major diseases in grapes and potatoes.

Building on the globally successful Zorvec technology, the solution is aimed at combating Downy Mildew (Plasmopara viticola) in grapes and Late Blight (Phytophthora infestans) in potatoes — two of the most destructive diseases affecting Indian farmers.

Zorvec Entecta® combines advanced chemistry with systemic mobility, ensuring uniform protection of both treated and newly emerging leaves. The product’s rain fastness feature safeguards crops within 20 minutes of application, even under challenging climatic conditions.

According to Corteva, the fungicide’s dual active ingredients deliver reliable control, support disease resistance management, and ensure sustained effectiveness. With its favorable environmental profile, the product also aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainable agriculture.

For grape growers, Zorvec Entecta offers consistent protection across key growth stages, while potato growers benefit from its proven strength against Late Blight under severe pressure conditions. Corteva recommends using Zorvec Entecta in rotation with Curzate M8 in a strategic sequence (ZCZC program) to ensure comprehensive protection and higher yields.

Already successful in global markets, Zorvec Entecta will now be rolled out across India in the coming months, bringing growers a powerful new tool to safeguard crops and boost productivity.
