NEW DELHI, 20 January 2024: The Chief Minister of Haryana Shri Manohar Lal Khattar introduced Marut's AG365 drones to inaugurate the drone Yatra in Haryana as part of nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra which reached Billouch village in Faridabad.

Aligned with PM's vision to make agriculture profitable for Indian farmers, Marut Drones aims to provide 15000 drones to women SHGs across India under Central Govt's drone scheme. Recognizing potential challenges in drone procurement, repair, and maintenance for SHGs, Marut Drones has already simplified the process and is on a mission to empower women farmers, encouraging them to embrace drone technology and enhance their livelihood.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision 'Drone Didi Yojana', which aims to provide drones to 15,000 select women self-help groups (SHGs) during the period between 2024-25 and 2025-2026 for providing rental services to farmers for agriculture purpose, is anticipated to be a boon for the agriculture community.

Manohar Lal Khattar, Chief Minister of Haryana, accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, listened to the live address of the Prime Minister, and highlighted the potential of Marut's agriculture drones for state-of-the-art farming practices. He advocated the usage of drones for spraying urea and pesticides which will enhance efficient spraying as well as save time and resources for farmers.

Speaking on the development, Prem Kumar Vislawath – CEO and Founder of Marut Drones said, "Women empowerment, especially in rural area, is part of value system of Marut Drones, Under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, Marut Drones aims to reach remote rural pockets and encourage women for adoption of drones in agriculture. We have been actively engaging in delivering drone training not only to provide certificates but to ensure that employability and financial liberty is achieved for Indian Rural Women. Marut Drones has already empowered more than 100 women from Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across various states, making the entire experience user-friendly for women in diverse linguistic communities, including Telugu, Kannada, and Tamil."

Marut Drones has been aligned to the initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has been providing regular 5 day drone pilot training to women in association with various Agri universities and institutes like NIPHM.
