SBOF Agrosmart App Aims to Transform Farming with AI and IoT Solutions

BELAGAVI, 8 May 2025: SBOF Agrosmart Private Limited, a Belagavi-based start-up, has launched SBOF Agrosmart, India’s first AI-powered all-in-one agriculture app.

The app promises to revolutionize farming by providing farmers with real-time, data-driven solutions designed to tackle pressing challenges in modern agriculture.

The app was launched by Savio Pereira and Swati Pereira, the founders of SBOF Agrosmart, who aim to address the growing issues that Indian farmers face, including climate change, market price fluctuations, pest outbreaks, and difficulty accessing government schemes and modern tools.

SBOF Agrosmart offers a digital-first approach to farming, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and expert agricultural advisory services. The platform provides region-specific solutions, guiding farmers on everything from crop management to pest control. The app also features a built-in chatbot, offering 24/7 multilingual support for farmers, ensuring they have access to the information they need, whenever they need it.

Innovative Farming Solutions Backed by Experience
With a decade of experience in fertilizer manufacturing and agri-inputs, the founders aim to bridge the information gap that farmers face by leveraging cutting-edge technology. By integrating AI and IoT, the app allows farmers to access tailored advice, monitor their crops’ health, and optimize their farming practices. Additionally, SBOF Agrosmart makes it easier for farmers to navigate government schemes and subsidies, improving their access to financial and material support.

Government Support and Community Backing
The app was officially launched in Belagavi by PWD Minister Satish Jarkiholi, in the presence of prominent local figures, including MLA Asif (Raju) Sait, BUDA Chairman Laxmanrao Chingale, and DCC Bank President Appasaheb Kulgode, along with former ministers and MLAs. Their presence at the launch event highlights the strong community and government support behind this initiative, which could empower farmers with the technology and resources they need to enhance productivity and resilience.
