In a landmark breakthrough for India’s biotechnology and livestock research, scientists at the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST-Kashmir) have successfully developed the nation’s first gene-edited sheep using CRISPR-Cas9 gene-editing technology.
