There has been satisfactory progress of sowing area coverage under Kharif crops sowing that has been recorded at 1113.63 lakh hectares (ha) area as on 18 September 2020, as compared to 1053.52 lakh ha area during the corresponding period of last year, registering an increase in area coverage by 5.71 percent.
