The Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare has released progress of area coverage under kharif crops as on 23 June 2023, which revealed that sowing of Kharif crops up to 23 June 2023 is down by 5.69 lakh hectare at 10.77 lakh hectare, as compared to 16.46 lakh hectare sowed up to 23 June 2022.
