    In a landmark move to revolutionize Indian agriculture, Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, launched the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA-2025) at the ICAR–Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (ICAR-CIFA) in Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar.

    Indian Immunologicals Limited (IIL), a leading vaccine manufacturer, has announced partnership with Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, an Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Institute for the commercial development of vaccine against common bacterial diseases in freshwater fishes.

    In order to increase production of Rohu fish that are consumed across India, Indian Council of Agricultural Research’s Central Institute Of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with hatchery owners to multiply rohu fish.
