AfDB approves $310 mn package to boost MSME, women-led agribusiness financing in South Africa

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) has approved a $310 million financial package for FirstRand Bank, one of Africa’s largest financial institutions, to expand access to finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across South Africa, with a strong emphasis on women-led businesses and agribusinesses.
