Mahratta Chamber, NABARD launches India’s first Agriculture Export Facilitation Centre

Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA) in association with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) formally inaugurated India’s first Agriculture Export Facilitation Centre (AFEC) on the occasion of Maharashtra Krushi Din. However, it was initially launched virtually on 15 May 2021.

Parliament passes farm bills, full protection to farmers, procurement at MSP will continue, says Narendra Singh Tomar

Parliament today passed two bills aimed at transforming agriculture in the country and raising farmers’ incomes. The Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and The Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 which were passed by Lok Sabha on 17 September 2020, were passed by the Rajya Sabha also today.
