Teams get Smart Farm Grant Challenge grant from STPI

Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) distributed INR 5 Lakhs each to 10 shortlisted Teams under the Smart Farm Grant Challenge Programme. The grant distribution and the award ceremony were held at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, New Delhi, where Alkesh Kumar Sharma (Secretary, MeitY) handed over the cheques to the winning teams.

Digital India Corporation sign MoU with ICAR for providing demand based tele agriculture advisories to farmers

In order to facilitate farmers by providing location specific āDemand Based Tele Agriculture Advisoriesā, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Digital India Corporation (DIC), Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology have signed an MoU on 9 June 2021 at Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi.

CSC SPV launches agri services e-marketplace portal

The CSC E-Governance India Ltd (CSC SPV) announced the launch of an e-marketplace or portal for agri services, mainly to help small farmers. The CSC SPV is a special purpose vehicle under the Ministry of Electronics & IT that provides a host of electronic services to consumers through its common service centres.
