The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi recently released the 7th instalment of financial benefit under PM KisanSammanNidhi through video conference.PM also interacted with farmers from Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh. Farmers narrated their experiences about how they have benefitted since the introduction of the Farm Acts.

Harsimrat Kaur Badal inaugurates organic food processing unit worth INR 50 crore in Uttar Pradesh

Agri ministry releases INR 17,793 cr under PM-KISAN scheme during the lockdown

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme during the lockdown period from 24 March 2020 till 20 April 2020, about 8.89 crore (88.9 million) farmer families have been benefitted and an amount of INR 17,793 crore has been released so far.
