Pune firm announces layer training at Kopargaon on Nov 13

To accelerate the egg consumption in rural Maharashtra, Pune based egg marketing firm, Kommomsense has announced layer farming training programme at Kopargaon.

To accelerate the egg consumption in rural Maharashtra, Pune based egg marketing firm, Kommomsense  has announced that it will be organizing a layer farming training programme at Kopargaon on in the Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra.

The programme is scheduled for November 13, 2016 and is free of cost.

The programme will organised under EggJ, a brand name of which has been undertaking promotion, distribution and production of eggs in small towns across the state to help eradicate the problem of malnutrition and create opportunities for rural women and youth.

Speaking to AgriTimes, Rahul Somwanshi from Kommomsense said the program will include the actual layer farm visit near Kopargaon to give the farmers a live demo about layer farming.

Also there will be couple of session explaining the theoretical side of layer farming and answering the questions of farmers. We are expecting this session to be as interactive as possible so that farmers should get proper resolutions for their queries, Somwanshi adds.

The program duration will be 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.

Prior to this, Kommomsense had organised an promotion of eggs in Jalgaon district to celebrate World Egg Day on October 14, 2016 in many schools across the district under the guidance of Dr Dinesh Bhosale, former chairman at CLFMA of India, general manager, AB Vista South Asia and vice president, Poultry Federation of India.
