HYDERABAD, 12 February 2023: The three day Twin Expos--Dairy and Food, featuring Dairy/Food Products, Processing & Packaging which held at Hitex in Madhapur concluded on recently.

Speaking at the event, Soma Bharath Kumar, Chairman of Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation (TSDDCF) said that the city needs one crore liters of milk every day and the production is around 60 to 70 lakh only. 

He also shared the latest developments at Vijaya Dairy. Vijaya Dairy, which was once speculated to be closed, is doing well, achieving INR 700 crore turnover and aiming for INR 1000 crore, he informed.

He also shared its expansion plans that they were planning to add 2000 more outlets across Telangana.  At the moment Vijaya Dairy has about 1000 outlets.  Similarly it is also expanding its products portfolio. 

Currently we have 27 products.  And we will be adding 100 more products such as Milk Shake, Coffee, Tea, Flavoured Milk, Ice Cream, Kulfi, Cookies, Health Bars etc and others, he added. 

The expo which featured 105 exhibitors such as Coffee Board of India, Godrej Creamline Jersey Products, Dodla Dairy etc showcasing their products and services.  7500 visitors  visited twin shows.

The event was organized in support of Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), Ministry of Agriculture Govt of India; Govt of Telangana and MSME.
