BHARUCH, 30 May 2025: Safex Chemicals, a top-tier specialty agrochemical manufacturer, has inaugurated its most advanced crop protection manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat.
The state-of-the-art plant, commissioned in April 2025, significantly strengthens Safex’s production capacity, supply chain efficiency, and R&D capabilities.
This strategic investment is expected to generate 300 direct jobs and meet surging demand across India’s agricultural heartlands. The plant currently operates at 30 MT/day for liquid formulations, with scalable capacity up to 80 MT/day, complementing Safex’s existing national capacity of over 51,000 MT.
“This facility is a cornerstone in our vision to empower Indian farmers through advanced, sustainable crop solutions,” said S K Chaudhary, Chairman, Safex Chemicals. “It also serves as a manufacturing base for our agritech platform, Golden Farms.”
The Bharuch unit features automated production lines, an in-house R&D center for agri-innovation, and a 100KW solar plant supporting renewable energy goals. Strict adherence to EHS protocols and eco-friendly practices underlines Safex’s sustainability commitment.
With a global workforce of 1,550+, the new jobs further Safex’s CSR-driven engagement model, focused on education, amenities, and sports in local communities.
As India’s agriculture sector evolves, Safex’s Bharuch facility positions the company as a global leader in agrochemical manufacturing, innovation, and export readiness.
