This demonstration farm forms part of McCain’s global commitment to implement regenerative agricultural practices across 100% of its grower network by 2030. Designed as a practical, living showcase, the farm integrates innovation with local farming conditions to help farmers transition smoothly to regenerative methods.

Key regenerative practices demonstrated at the farm include cover cropping and crop rotation to improve biodiversity and soil structure, reduced chemical use to promote natural ecosystem balance, improved water use efficiency via precision techniques, and enhanced soil health to ensure sustainable productivity.

Sabarkantha was chosen due to its status as a vital McCain growing region, supported by engaged farmers and suitable agro-climatic conditions. The farm will also serve as an innovation hub for farmers, McCain teams, agricultural experts, and partners to collaborate and learn.
