Delacon appoints Stefan Hirtenlehner as Technical Communications Manager

Austria based phytogenic feed additives producer, Delacon has announced that the 32-year-old Upper Austrian Dr. Stefan Hirtenlehner is now responsible for technical communications at Delacon.

, 28 October 2016 : Austria based phytogenic feed additives producer, Delacon has announced that the 32-year-old Dr. Stefan Hirtenlehner is now responsible for technical communications at Delacon.

His tasks include the organization, planning and coordination of all scientific, technical and product-related communication activities, the company said in a statement recently.

"In his function, Dr. Hirtenlehner is the link between product management, R & D and marketing as well as communications. He closes the gap of scientific know-how transfer of our products from internal departments to external stakeholders, such as distributors, customers, partners and specialist media," Martin Broetel, Head or Marketing, Delacon said.

Prior to joining Delacon, Hirtenlehner worked as a program manager at Business Upper Austria GmbH.

Previously, he worked for four years as a research assistant in the field of physiological fundamental research at the Institute of Zoology at the Karl Franzens University of Graz, Austria.

He has a PhD in biology and a master’s degree in zoology.

My job involves the presentation of scientific data in a comprehensible way, to demonstrate the advantages of phytogenic feed additives for our stakeholders.” Delacon is a producer of plant-derived feed additives, so-called phytogenic feed additives, for poultry, swine and ruminants.
