THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, 19 October 2025: Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, known by the brand Milma, won the Best Milk Brand of the Year Award at the 19th edition of Metro Food Awards held here last evening, coinciding with the World Food Day.   

Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, presented the award to Shri Balasubramanian PV, Asst. Manager, Quality Assurance, Milma, at the Metro Food Awards ceremony, organised by Metro Mart and Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) in association with South Kerala Hoteliers Forum. 

TCCI President Shri S N Raghuchandran Nair; celebrity chef Dr Lakshmi Nair; Jury Chairman, Award Committee, Shri Prasad Manjali; Kerala Tourism Development Association General Secretary Shri Kottukal Krishnakumar; Metro Mart MD Shri Siji Nair; and TCCI Vice President Shri Suresh Mathew Nilamel, were also present.

Winners of Metro Food Awards in various categories were selected from around 300 applications.
