TRCMPU adopts INR Rs 1,248 Cr budget for 2022-23

The Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) unanimously adopted a budget of INR 1,248 crore for the financial year 2022-23 at its Annual General Body meeting today.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, 22 September 2022: The Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) unanimously adopted a budget of INR 1,248 crore for the financial year 2022-23 at its Annual General Body meeting today.

Besides, TRCMPU has set a target of INR 1,203 crore as its turnover in the current financial year, which is 10 percent more than the last year.

TRCMPU has set a target of INR 4 crore as its net profit for this financial year as against INR 2.5 crore achieved last year.

Addressing the meeting, TRCMPU Administrative Committee Convenor Shri N Bhasurangan said TRCMPU will draw up plans to export Milma’s products from its Pathanamthitta dairy. 

Bhasurangan also announced a slew of new measures, including more mobile veterinary units for cattle care in the four southern districts and launch of seven new products.

The meeting congratulated the Administrative Committee on achieving a record sale of 13 lakh litre milk during the Onam season, besides obtaining a record net sale of INR 110 crore.  

Bhasurangan thanked the members for their unstinted support to the developmental activities and schemes implemented by the administrative committee last year.

TRCMPU Administrative Committee Member KR Mohanan Pillai presented various resolutions at the meeting. Administrative Committee Member VS Padmakumar welcomed the gathering.

TRCMPU Managing Director DS Konda, presented the budget, the accounts and the report at the Annual General Body which was also attended by the Deputy Director, Dairy Development department.

As many as 800 cooperative society representatives took part in the meeting.
