MUMBAI, 15 March 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s tractor division, Mahindra Tractors, has announced plans to ramp up production of its OJA 2130 tractor series in anticipation of increased seasonal demand from farmers across India.

The 30 HP category tractors are part of Mahindra’s future-ready OJA platform, designed to deliver higher productivity, improved operator comfort and cost-effective farming solutions.

Designed for Specialized Farming Segments

The OJA 2130 series is offered in three variants:


 
OJA 2130 – PROJA
 
OJA 2130 Large Tyre (9.5×18 tyres)
 
OJA 2130 Narrow Track with FR Shuttle


These tractors are designed for applications such as horticulture, vineyards, intercultural farming, sugarcane cultivation and cotton farming, addressing the evolving needs of progressive farmers.

Advanced Technology and High Performance

The tractors are powered by a three-cylinder direct injection (DI) engine delivering 83.7 Nm torque, offering strong lugging ability and fuel efficiency.

The OJA platform has been designed with operator comfort in mind, featuring tilt and telescopic steering, side-shift controls and ergonomically designed operating systems.

The tractors are also engineered to reduce operational expenses per crop cycle while lowering long-term maintenance costs.

Variant Highlights

OJA 2130 – PROJA:

Built for high productivity, this variant features F/R shuttle transmission, creeper mode for ultra-low-speed operations, wet electric PTO for uninterrupted implement performance, and projector lamps for extended working hours.

OJA 2130 Narrow Track:

With a 914 mm track width, this variant is suited for crops such as sugarcane, banana and cotton, where narrow row spacing requires agile machinery.

OJA 2130 Large Tyre Variant:

Designed as a versatile all-rounder, this version offers improved traction and stability with 9.5×18 tyres, making it suitable for diverse field conditions.

Strengthening Leadership in the 21–30 HP Segment

According to Parikshit Ghosh, Head of Sales, Marketing and National Business Operations at Mahindra Tractors, the company expects strong demand from farmers in key crop segments.

He noted that the OJA tractor series is designed to empower farmers with technology-driven solutions that improve productivity and transform modern farming practices.

The tractors are available across Mahindra dealerships nationwide and come with the company’s six-year warranty, reinforcing durability and long-term reliability.
