Anuvia Plant Nutrients raises USD 65.5m in series D funding led by Riverstone Holdings, Piva Capital

Anuvia Plant Nutrients, a Winter Garden, FL-based company that makes sustainable field-ready fertilisers for the agriculture, turf, and lawncare industries, has raised USD 65.5m in Series D funding.

FLORIDA / UNITED STATES, 27 April 2022: Anuvia Plant Nutrients, a Winter Garden, FL-based company that makes sustainable field-ready fertilisers for the agriculture, turf, and lawncare industries, has raised USD 65.5m in Series D funding.

The round was led by Riverstone Holdings LLC and Piva Capital, with participation from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, LK Advisers Limited, Pontifax Global Food and Agriculture Technology Fund.

The funds will be used to extend commercialization of the company's SymTRXTM XP series of field-ready bio-based fertilisers for large-scale agriculture and enhance production capacity at its environmentally friendly manufacturing plant in the United States.

Lynn White, Founder and Managing Director of the Twemlow Group, will become Chairman of Anuvia’s Board of Directors. New board members include Cynthia Kueppers, Managing Director, Riverstone Holdings LLC and Mark Gudiksen, Managing Partner, Piva Capital. Stepping down from the board are Rich Mack and Bill Buckner.

Led by CEO Amy Yoder, Anuvia Plant Nutrients manufactures sustainable field-ready fertilizers for the agriculture, turf, and lawncare industries. The company developed and uses technology that optimizes nutrient availability and efficiency for plants and improves soil health, preserves natural resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Recently, Anuvia completed the expansion of its facility in Plant City, Florida. The facility has the capacity to expand to 1.2 million tons per year, enough to service over 20 million acres of agricultural crops and meet the growing demand for sustainable products.
