Kirloskar launches new range of power tillers

KARAD, 3 July 2022: Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL), an industry leader and pioneer in Engines, Power Generating Units and Farm Mechanization,  introduced its latest power tiller equipped with K-Cool technology engines, in line with its vision and legacy to continue to make a positive impact to the lives of farmers. 

This new range of K-Cool technology 12 HP and 15 HP power tillers have the ability to work around the clock, along with a comfortable ride-on facility & self-start engines. The robustness and reliability of this product translates into higher productivity and incomes for farmers.

Under the Kirloskar Farm Machinery At Your Door Step Campaign, the new range of power tillers and power weeders were displayed and demonstrated at the Vita-Sangli district. The on-field demonstration showcased the machine's round-the-clock 24 hours working capability.  Here the farmers got a hands-on product experience in its actual working environment.

Speaking at the event Vaibhavdada Sadashiv Patilji - Chairman of Viraj Sugars, appealed to the farmers to embrace the new farm mechanization technology to improve their farming efficiency. A showroom-on-wheels at the event gave farmers a closer look into other farm mechanization products along with the Kubix range of hand-held farm implements.

The event was attended by more than 500 farmers, custom hires, and leaders from the Sangli and Satara districts. The village Sarpanch was also present to grace and witness the event.

At the end of 24 hours, the demonstration successfully convinced farmers of the product’s reliable features. Interest was generated for sales and dealership opportunities.

The Kirloskar farm mechanization team expressed their commitment to continue working alongside the farmers to extend the new technology machines and services to them.

Pramod Ekbote, Business Head of the Farm Mechanization division at Kirloskar Oil Engines explained the K-Cool technology at length and said “At Kirloskar, we have a tradition of understanding the needs and pain points of farmers in order to maximize the relevance and performance of our products. The Mega T 12 that was used for the demo is a perfect example of our way of thinking."

"For the first time in India, it provides farmers with a self-start option to reduce their drudgery. The machine also caters to farmers’ comfort and safety by providing a seat option as a standard factory fitment. Both these are firsts in the industry. Farmers who need more power can get the same features with our 15 HP tillers,” Ekbote added.
